Reflection:

Building Relationships and Developing People

I build trusting relationships by creating a positive, faith-filled classroom environment that respects diverse student needs through differentiated instruction and restorative justice practices. I lead school-wide initiatives, such as the music ministry and Operation Kindness, to cultivate a collaborative and inclusive Catholic school climate. By mentoring NTIP teachers and maintaining consistent communication with parents, I strengthen connections across stakeholders. As an aspiring administrator, I plan to deepen these relationships by further engaging parents and community partners, ensuring seamless transitions for students and advocating for a united home, school, and parish community.

Connected Leader

I believe in providing a Catholic school environment that is a living example of our Gospel values, is safe, inclusive and conducive to staff and students enjoyment and well-being, faith development and academic advancement.

In faith I strive to apply my skills and talents towards building capacity among youth, educators and the general public in order to positively affect world issues.  I believe that nuanced individuals need the opportunity to thrive in an inclusive-community where they feel safe to express themselves and make mistakes.  A challenging program that is rooted in current best practices will reach every student. – Kevin Fell, O.C.T
