Toronto Catholic District School Board Award: Exemplary Practice in Education Award  (For his international literacy program, Getting to Know You, which in 2011 paired learners in Ontario with learners in the Western Cape, South Africa.)

Taiwan Ministry of Education: Award for Teaching Excellence ( In Taiwan 2001, Kevin’s work in education was awarded a certificate of gratitude by the Ministry of Education, the only foreigner at the time to ever receive such an award.)
